You read allll about me on the front page. This is about the children now. Fun Fact! We got into Resin before Filament! Most people do it the other way around. I also find Resin SO much easier to understand. Filament just...has so many adjustments and things that need to be calibrated and changed and monitored. To me Resin is just...a lot more simple!
Elegoo Mars 2 Pro
Where it all began. The practice one. The one who led to the others being brought about. Forever loved.
I use this one mostly for smaller type prints. Like DND mini's or the small pieces to the ghost. It works best that way.
UPDATE 2024: The time has come that this little printer has gone to a new home. We upgraded smaller printers and thus decided to give this one to a friend who I've very much convinced to get into 3D printing.
Elegoo Neptune X
5+ hours spent fixing and rewriting it's Gcode so it would finally properly work, only for it to spit it's own tube out and spill all the filament onto the floor.
Yea. I'm a little mad at it...
Update 2025: This printer is still not fixed. It needs to be done this year. We NEED to fix it this year so we can actually *use* it.
Elegoo Jupiter
Ah yes. The other Favorite. Still likes to cause some problems but not nearly as often as The Trouble Child.
Screw ups are usually because of user error. Mostly due to not enough supports, or too small supports, or too few supports. Really I'm just bad about supports.
Elegoo Neptune 3+
The one who can do no wrong. Isn't that how it always is? The youngest is nearly always the Golden Child!
Not kidding. This beauty is a WORK horse. And with the added camera my dear friend gave me I can print directly from my computer (or even phone if a file is uploaded). This printer can quite literally:
Do. No. Wrong.
We decided it was time to upgrade our smaller printer to something a little more up to date. Still in the Mars family just a bit more fancy. It has a tilting plate, a camera to check for fails, and an insane 9k quality print ability. This printer has been AMAZING. It's printing minis like a CHAMP
Elegoo Mercury Cure Station
Came along with the Older Child
Works wonders for smaller prints like minis and daggers and such. Not so much with the CHONK prints
Cure Station
This one is obviously the step child. How else did he get so big?!
We needed something FAR bigger to cure the prints the Jupiter could produce. Thus this was born. The bottom rotates and everything!
