If you found your way to my little corner, that must mean I am annoying you and shoved it at you, *OR* you're just really nice and found your way over here because you were curious. Either way. HEY.
Disclosure: This is made from Google Sites. So while it does work decent on a phone, the layouts might be weird and will look better on a computer. You have been warned <3
On the off chance you're not someone who knows me, welcome! Here's a little blurb about me if you're curious! If not? Eh. Here it is anyway, I have ADHD and am incapable of being dark and mysterious.
I love DND and play with my friends nearly every Sat. We have a group of 8 of us!
I've come to love all sorts of classes but none more so than the Bard. I just resonate with them so well. The Jack of All Trades trait is quite honestly my strongest feature. And as much as I'd like to deny it - I am quite charismatic and love to make friend wherever I go.
I consider myself an Introverted Extrovert. I have traits from both! It means that you'll likely only see me at home, yet I will talk your ear off if we hit subjects we both are interested in. Or if you ask me for help. Both real life and online!
Videogames are a huge inspiration in my day to day life. They influnce so much of what I do. Some of my FAVORITE videogames include (but not limited to):
-Dragon Age -Legend of Zelda -Starfield -World of Warcraft
-Destiny 2 -Fallout -Fable -Witcher -Baldur's Gate -Hades
I've dealt with a lot of health probs most of my life. Namely chronic migraines. Thanks to my Husband for pushing me to do something about them, I finally landed on a medication that basically eradicated them. I went from 27ish a month to....maybe 2 a month? Sometimes I go a month with no migraine! I didn't know life could be so bright!
I recently got spayed! BEST decision of my LIFE. No longer being on Birth Control has changed my life! Not having a period and period symptoms for 3 weeks out of the month has also greatly improved my quality of life. I have more energy now and everything. It's insane.
I have about 25 Tattoos. Give or take. I honestly stopped counting around 10. A good few of them include Dragon Age, Hades, World of Warcraft, and Legend of Zelda.
I have about that many piercings as well.
I have my tongue split! Quite honestly the most insane body mod I have ever done. And honestly? My favorite as well!
My hair color is constantly changing. Life is too short to keep it natural and neutral. It matches my colorful personality <3
I have two degrees! One in Art/Science and another in Vet Tech
I worked at a cat only hospital for 2ish years while I was in Vet Tech schooling
I participated and helped organize two different Cat Arthritis studies! We helped move along a medication to get FDA approval that could help kitties who suffered! I honestly THRIVED in this kind of study. I love organizing information like this and keeping track of it all. Prob one of my favorite achievements.
Worked at Duke University's lab during husbandry for a few years tending to all sorts of animals. Such as:
-Cats -Dogs -Rabbits -Ferrets -Rats -Birds
-Mice (I have a smallpox vaccine because we had a set of mice for it and I was the only one willing to say yes to getting the vaccine!)
-Monkeys (I was in a separate room away from the rest of the group as they were 3 special ones. They were part of a heart transplant study and I was honored to care and advocate for them. I loved those little guys. I knew what treats they liked and didn't like and they were so expressive!)
Named after Frumpkin, Caleb's familiar from Critical Role!
Names he's gone by:
-Frumpkin -Frumpy -Frump -Frumpalicious
-Frumpykins -Buddy -Child
I could go on and on and on about Frumpy. But truth is, he's my soul cat. When his time finally does come, I'll be an absolute mess. Pets are in our lives for such a short time. But they love us unconditionally. They leave us, too soon, so that we may rescue and love another animal in their place. It's the nature of life. But you only get one soul cat. It breaks my heart I only got to start my love for him when he was 12 in 2020. But it's better late than never. He will always be my baby.
I got Frumpkin when Covid hit in 2020. They decided to close the study he was a part of since they weren't getting any results. I no longer remember what the study was about. But something about a gene he carries can be passed onto a kitten and it might have been a diabetic study? Either way he was a juggalo! So he wasn't neutered until he was 12! I will forever be grateful for my manager because she was 100% the reason I got to take Frumpkin home! His original name was Lazlo. But since he was getting a new lease on life he needed a new name! Our vet is even shocked that Frump is reaching close to 17 now in 2025! He's got a whole two story house to run around in. And a kitten now who keeps him on his toes!
Currently he's got Hyperthyroid, which we treat with meds twice a day. So here's to many more years with him!
Enjoy the photo dump! I had tooooo many to choose from!
God I love this cat. He's my special little boy. I adopted him in 2020 from the lab I used to work for. It was time for him to retire. He was 12 at the time. Now, in 2024 he's 16! And most people can't even tell he's that old! Here's to another 10 years with him! His favorite thing to do is come and cuddle with me while I'm on the couch.
I'm not joking when I say he's my soul cat. He comes and sits near or on my head when I have a migraine. To purr away the pain and to keep me warm. He's adorable as hell and I love him to bits. He's too cute!
He just HAD to lay on top of all my art tarps. Honestly, this cat LOVES his bucket full of weird as hell bags. So who am I to judge? Flip through them all to see how much he loves that bucket, or his cat tree.
He just loves the Sun. And who can blame him?
Poor Epona. We got her when she was a year old in 2021. She was born fully blind. After taking her to an Eye Doctor we discovered that her left optic nerve was never developed and the right one only developed about 5% or so. Which means she is FULLY and will ALWAYS be blind. As such, she has the cutest cross eyed look. One eye will be looking right into your soul, the other off in La La Land.
We discovered this because around May or June of 2022 a friend brought over a dagger made from a coyote bone dagger. She smelled it. Seemed fine at first then when I tried to pick her up and take her away she had a MAJOR panic attack, peed on me, and ran upstairs.
What followed has been the most heart breaking experience ever. She acts like she is half herself. She caught a FLY out of the air once! She used to be the bravest little blind kitty - jumping onto surfaces and finding her way down. Now she spends majority of her time in our closet and bedroom. She used to be our little stair gremlin. The best way I can explain her drastic change in mood is she had what felt like a stroke that wiped part of her memory away. The taller scratching post was her FAVORITE thing to climb on. And for a few months, she acted like it was a snake trying to kill her.
But there's some hope. She seems to be slowly getting her old personality back. She loves her scratching post. She's starting to come down the stairs more. She's not only playing with Frumpkin more but also Crow. She's ventured out into the loft and even jumped onto the couch a lot. She's coming to sleep with us in bed. She's slowly becoming a stair gremlin again. She even will come fully downstairs to see what we were up to! She's scared and slow about it. But the point is she will overcome some of her fear and come down.
She was so happy go lucky. I sometimes miss this version of her. She was scared of nothing. But I need to realize that her new version is still her, and she's happy. That's all I can hope for her.
She was on 2 different anti anxiety medication for a year or so. Which made her unsteady on her feet and have a low appetite. I think for the time she was on them it helped, but as time went on it was starting to effect her health negativly. I'm glad we took her off them.
She's doing what she can. I have to remember that the version of her before the scare is no longer who she is. But who she is *now* is just as good. She comes out into the loft to see us often on her own. She jumps on the couch and sleeps next to me in bed. Both things she never used to do! So here's to many more years and many more strides.
AKA Crow from Destiny 2
He was born around June 2024. He's the baby of the group.
Names He's Been Called:
-Crowcefer -CHILD (when he's misbehaving)
-Uldren (when he's misbehaving)
-Baby
Crow is very expressive. He's also very VERY talkative! Like really talkative. We are still trying to get used to that! Epona doesn't meow often and when Frump does it's very raspy and "old man" sounding. I always think Frump is hurt! But Crow... Crow will have full conversations with us! He follows us around the house and is so cuddly! He also gets into *everything.* This child is nothing more than a furry toddler! We've had to childproof our house! We love him to death. But BOY is he a mischievous child!
This cat is just so funny. He seems to really like watching us play games.
He used to be so TINY. Now he's grown up to be a huge cat! I can't believe how little he used to be!
Seriously. How is he so big? I gotta start watching his food intake before he get's bigger! He doesn't scarf his food so I'm not sure how he's so big! To be fair, his personality is also HUGE
