A Tribute to Lance Reddick
On behalf of the entire Destiny community, I want to express our gratitude for your hard work and contributions to the game. Your portrayal of Commander Zavala was particularly memorable, and you made us feel like you were fighting along side a true hero. Your dedication to the role and your willingness to engage with the community have made you a beloved figure in the Destiny Universe.
While we are deeply saddened by the news of your passing, we want you to know that your legacy in the game will live on forever. We will miss your voice, your Prescence and your talent. You have left an undeniable mark on our hearts, and we will forever be grateful for everything you have done for us.
I knew for a fact, as soon as this model showed up, that I had to make it. This was printed on the Jupiter. Full size. Not hollow. I needed it to feel heavy. To feel like it was made of stone. I spent countless hours applying layers of paint, of texture paste and glue for the moss. I even painted the moss to look more natural. This is the one creation I am most proud of. And most saddened by.
This is the piece that prompted me to make a care package for my friend. Many of the included items you'll see as you scroll on. Lance Reddick played such a large part in a game my friend and I love. And my friend also plays a Titan. It only felt fitting that a small memorial went to them as well.
