I commissioned this shield from Dangerous Ladies (https://dangerousladies.ca) back in 2021. We had just gotten our first 3D printer around then and I was ambitious. It wasn't until 2024 where I had a printer BIG enough to print each piece without having to slice them down smaller. It was so worth the wait. I am so happy to finally be working on this!
Overall this took at LEAST a month to print. Partly because I had to wait for more filament to be delivered, had to reprint two of the pieces due to fails, and just normal daily life getting in the way. The two tips were printed side by side, but everything else took about 1-2 days each.
6 pieces down!
